Welcome to the Central Suffolk Operations Group Website, we are located in Central Suffolk County , Long Island, New York. The operations group was started in 2010 as a round robin operating group by a handful of local model railroaders that wanted to be able to share their layouts with other local modelers. So far there are only a handful of members. The group has given us the opportunity to meet and greet new friends and fellow modelers in our area, without the cost of membership dues and group projects and of course all the other costs associated with a public club. In a nut shell we are a group of model railroaders & operators who run our own layouts  and enjoy working with one another to operate, design and run our model railroads.
